We are developing a long-term energy strategy to continuously reduce and avoid greenhouse gas emissions. Since 2023, we have consciously stopped to offset unavoidable CO₂ emissions with climate certificates. Instead, we want to effectively support projects that have a positive impact on key sustainability issues of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). We do this either ourselves or where we can directly monitor the effectiveness of the measures. This approach is made possible by our company’s close proximity to nature and the wildlife that lives in it. We understand this privilege as a special responsibility. The importance of long-term reduction and avoidance of greenhouse gas emissions remains high for us.
